Warranty Policy

At McCully Customs, we take pride in producing high-quality custom motorcycle parts and accessories. We stand behind our workmanship and are committed to providing excellent customer service.

This warranty applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the ACL.

1. Warranty Coverage

McCully Customs warrants that products manufactured by us are free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the original date of purchase, unless otherwise specified.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects.

  • Faults resulting from defective materials.

  • Faults resulting from workmanship during manufacture.

At our discretion, McCully Customs will:

  • Repair the product;

  • Replace the product with the same or equivalent item; or

  • Refund the purchase price where appropriate.

2. Products Covered

This warranty applies only to products manufactured and sold by McCully Customs.

Products supplied by third-party manufacturers are covered only by the original manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.

3. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Cosmetic damage occurring after installation or use.

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation.

  • Improper maintenance or servicing.

  • Misuse, abuse or neglect.

  • Racing, competition or stunt use.

  • Accidents or impacts.

  • Corrosion caused by environmental conditions or chemicals.

  • Products that have been modified, welded, machined, painted, powder-coated or altered after purchase.

  • Damage caused by incorrect fitment or incompatible aftermarket components.

  • Labor charges.

  • Removal or reinstallation costs.

  • Freight or shipping costs associated with warranty claims unless otherwise agreed by McCully Customs.

4. Installation Requirements

All McCully Customs products must be installed correctly using appropriate workshop procedures.

Where applicable, installation should be carried out by a qualified motorcycle technician or experienced installer.

Damage resulting from incorrect installation is not covered under warranty.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, customers must provide:

  • Proof of purchase.

  • Product description.

  • Photographs showing the issue.

  • A detailed explanation of the fault.

  • Vehicle model and year where applicable.

McCully Customs may require the product to be returned for inspection before any warranty decision is made.

Products must not be returned without prior approval.

6. Warranty Assessment

Each warranty claim is assessed individually.

If inspection determines the fault is due to a manufacturing defect, McCully Customs will repair or replace the product at our discretion.

If no manufacturing defect is found, the product may be returned at the customer’s expense.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, McCully Customs is not liable for:

  • Loss of vehicle use.

  • Towing expenses.

  • Hire vehicles.

  • Loss of income.

  • Consequential or incidental damages.

  • Labor costs associated with installation or removal.

Our liability is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the defective product in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
